Cherries are picked when ripe, spread thin on raised beds, and turned by hand through the drying season. Slow, careful work, and a large part of why an origin tastes the way it does.

Our story

I've spent more than seventeen years living and working in Kenya, Namibia, Lesotho, and Tanzania, and working with coffee farmers across Kenya, Ethiopia, Burundi, and Uganda. Kalahari Coffee Cooperative grew out of that life, not out of a boardroom.
